PetaBit sponsors the evening at Tenuta Urbano in Torchiara

On 8 August PetaBit was the sponsor of the performance at Tenuta Urbano in Torchiara (SA), in the Cilento area, where the band Kool Funk played.

An evening of music, but also the chance to tell people outside meeting rooms what we have in mind for this area: the production site in the Cilento where supercomputers will be assembled and tested, and the datacenter of our own to be built next to the production line. We discussed it with those attending, among them local administrators, businesses from the area and people who live and work in the Cilento.

The thread tying the two things together is not a formality. A production site is not born out of permits and buildings alone: it is born if the area knows about it, if there are people willing to work there, and if the company opening it is a name someone has already heard. The operating office opened in Agropoli in May goes in the same direction: establishing our presence in the area.
